Paper Art

Papercutting and silhouette-making has always been fascinating to me. Here are some Etsy sellers who do it extremely well.

Heart Garland by Sanfran 67

Perfect as a Valentine's gift (if you're up for spending $65 on a Valentine's gift!) The rest of Sanfran 67's store is jaw-dropping as well.

Large Art Card - London Eye by Nickolya

Nickolya does cut-outs of many major world cities' skylines - check out the shop for more!

White Peony in Black background by Molley Jey

A simple framed silhouette - this would be beautiful over your desk.

Bee Miniature Paper Sculpture by Elsita

Elsita's bee sculptures are basically the eighth wonder of the world, I think.

I really like that paper garland, but OMG $65 FOR CUT UP BITS OF PAPER!

... perhaps part of the reason my apartment is so dull is that I won't shell out for things that are not cheap and mass-produced. (... well, I *would* shell out for things that are not mass-produced if they were cheap. But I guess labor and creativity have a cost. Who would've thought? Woe is me.)
